These rates are designed for the sake of simplicity - you are granted an unlimited use license for most typical scenarios (except for e.g. national advertising campaigns and the like, for which additional licensing is required). Micaela Go retains copyright and all other applicable rights. Inquire for details or if your licensing requirements differ.

Session Request Form
On “Profile Photo” or “Portrait” instead of “Headshot”
I would like to transition to more nonviolent language in my photography vocabulary and I’ve chosen to use the terms Profile Photo or Portrait instead of “headshot”. You can read more on this topic on Diversify Photo’s Guide to Nonviolent Language for Lens-Based Work.
What to Expect - Portraits
It’s a collaborative experience! After booking your session, we’ll discuss what you’re looking for and how to best express that in your portraits. I can also suggest a time and location for the best lighting.
What to Expect - Team Sessions
In addition to the collaborative experience of portraits (see above), during team sessions in a single location, the camera is tethered to a computer and the photos will be visible to each person in real-time. Favorites can be selected if time allows, but every usable photo of each person will be delivered for later selection. The edited photos, licensed and ready for immediate use, will be made available for download in a private gallery online within two weeks of the shoot date.
The samples on this page represent the typical editing and basic retouching that is included. Additional advanced retouching is also available at an additional cost if desired, but care is taken during the shoot itself to ensure that significant retouching is usually not needed. Hair and makeup are not included but I can connect you with excellent hair & makeup professionals I have worked with in the past.
*Sliding scale pricing is a unique pricing strategy where the cost of a product or service is varied based on the individual's income or financial situation. This allows for more accessibility and inclusivity for those who may not be able to afford the standard price.
One of the benefits of sliding scale pricing is that it cultivates a sense of community and support. When those who are financially able to pay more do so, they are indirectly supporting and empowering those who cannot afford to pay full price.
Executive Portrait Sessions
$1250
An intensive solo portrait session, lasting 1-1.5 hours, including the option of different locations, poses, and outfits as time allows. I will discuss your needs with you, and then guide you through the process in order to best fulfill them.
Co-founders? Two or three people are usually OK in these sessions.
Team Portraits
Sessions with multiple people. I offer a wide variety of portrait styles, and the amount of time required per person varies - I will discuss and guide you through the process. In most cases I use portable studio lighting for consistency.
Groups/Environmental Portraits
Often, a few stock and group photos are needed for your website in addition to headshot-style portraits of your team. We can cover both in the same session if desired. In general, the day rates apply; contact me to discuss your project.
